Celery will create a personalised set of blood tests to suit your fertility needs and send you the forms required to complete the tests- This means less time spent in a waiting room.  Take the form to your nearest pathology centre. Don’t worry Celery will help find the centre closest to you. The results of your tests are reviewed by a fertility expert to ensure we are giving you the best possible advice.

Step 4

A pelvic ultrasound is an important part to form a complete fertility assessment. The ultrasound is used to count your ovarian follicles, an indicator of growing visible eggs in your ovaries during your cycle.  Measured in conjunction with your blood test results, this gives a more holistic measure of your fertility. What we offer
01

Why is egg health important for fertility?

Egg health plays a crucial role in fertility as it directly impacts the quality and viability of eggs. Healthy eggs have a higher chance of successful fertilisation and implantation, leading to a higher likelihood of achieving a healthy pregnancy.

02

When should I consider seeking fertility and egg health care?

It is beneficial to prioritise fertility and egg health care at any stage of your reproductive journey. Whether you are planning to conceive in the near future or want to preserve your fertility options, focusing on egg health can optimise your chances of success.

03

How does Celery approach fertility and egg health?

We believe that a 'whole-body' approach to egg health care is crucial. Our experienced fertility experts, nutritionists, sleep & lifestyle coaches will provide guidance on adopting a healthy lifestyle and nutrition plan that supports optimal overall health. We'll discuss the importance of a balanced diet, exercise, stress management, and the avoidance of harmful habits such as smoking or excessive alcohol consumption.

04

Can lifestyle choices affect fertility and egg health?

Yes, lifestyle choices can significantly impact egg health. Factors such as diet, exercise, stress management, and avoiding harmful habits like smoking and excessive alcohol consumption can positively influence egg health. The Celery Health team can provide guidance on adopting a healthy lifestyle to support optimal egg health.

05

Can age affect egg health?

Yes, absolutely. Age really is a critical factor in egg health. As women age, the quality and quantity of their eggs naturally decline. However, proactive egg health care measures can help optimise the remaining egg quality and improve chances of successful conception.

06

What are some ways to support egg health naturally?

Supporting egg health naturally can include maintaining a balanced diet rich in antioxidants, engaging in regular physical activity, managing stress levels, and ensuring adequate sleep. The Celery Health team includes experts who make this area their life work! They can provide personalised guidance on natural approaches to support optimal egg health.

07

Are there fertility supplements that can enhance egg health?

In some cases, specific fertility supplements may be recommended to support egg health. These supplements often include vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that promote optimal egg development and protect against oxidative stress. Our team can guide you on suitable supplements based on your individual needs.

08

Why is overall health so important for fertility?

Thyroid dysfunction, PCOS, endometriosis and even an undiagnosed anaemia can all affect your fertility chances. By addressing conditions that you may not be aware of, you'll ensure your body is fertility-fit when you are ready to conceive or preparing for an egg freeze. At Celery we work through a simple screening pathway to check if you're at risk of these. If that's the case we guide you to the next best stop for treatment.
